The play ‘Made in Galiza’ takes the stage of the Teatro Principal with a claim in favor of the Galician language, on May 16 and 17, for the Día das Letras Galegas (Day of Galician Letters). Sarabela Teatros production adapts the play of the same name by Séchu Sende, winner of the Ánxel Casal Book of the Year Award from the Asociación Galega de Editores (AEG).

This theatrical performance, whose text is signed by Fina Calleja and Fernando Dacosta, deals with issues related to sociolinguistics from a comical and critical approach that uses humor to invite reflection. Calleja also directs the play, starring Dacosta, Sabela Gago, Elena Seijo and Josito Porto.

Made in Galiza’ arrives in Compostela with two performances. The first will be on Thursday, May 16 at 8:30 p.m. and will be followed by a discussion with the team. The second opportunity will coincide with the Día das Letras Galegas, on Friday, May 17, at 8:30 pm.

You can buy tickets on the Compostela Cultura website, at the Zona C ticket office and at the Teatro Principal.
