Santiago de Compostela is getting ready for the arrival of Christmas. The city of the star celebrates these festivities in style, dressing its streets, gardens and monuments with lights and organizing activities for all audiences. Christmas Market

Every year, Compostela sets up its Christmas Market for its citizens and tourists to visit and do their Christmas shopping. It will be located in the rúa da Carreira do Conde, very close to the Alameda, and will have numerous stalls where you can buy decorative objects, handicrafts, textiles, toys or food.

From December 22 to January 5, it will also be present at the Área Central shopping center.

The Alameda fills with color

The Cavalcade of the Three Kings of the Orient

One of the most awaited events by the little ones is the parade and reception of the Three Wise Men. Their Majesties will walk through the streets of the city to the praza do Obradoiro, greeting the citizens from their floats.

At the end, there will be a reception at the Pazo de Raxoi where the Three Wise Men will be present so that the children can approach them.

Both events will be on January 5, 2024, the parade will start at 5 p.m., while the reception is scheduled for 7 p.m.
